Jieun Uhm is interested in the rhythm generated by events in the world. She pays attention to the moments when an individual's subjective perspective resonates with the flow of the world. Amidst people reevaluating modern society and prophesying the future, she is interested in how art can connect various types of events that individuals inevitably encounter in contemporary society. She tries to discover ways to create expanded narratives in physical spaces through various mediums - from time-based media like videos, installations, sound, to performances.
