WooJin Kim

WooJin Kim, 1983

The artist is interested in the various types of frames present in each society within this world, the everyday devices that operate or reinforce those frames, and the ways in which those devices affect individuals. Then he works with a focus on these aspects. His work begins with a small question of an individual observing a certain society. And when these questions pile up, he uncovers the everyday devices - though not easily noticeable - that permeate these questions. Through this process, he tries to tackle the notions of what is right or wrong, or what is good or bad. Through presentations and conversations, he aims to create a space where diverse new questions can be born.
